About Norman Panzica

I have been practising primarily criminal and quasi criminal law since 1993. My practise focuses on Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences, but also includes quasi criminal offences. I have appeared on thousands of matters primarily before the Ontario Courts and Superior Courts of Justice and have conducted trials in both courts including jury trials. My practise has included defending and prosecuting most types of offences from minor to serious violent offences including Murder, representing youths, adults, the mentally ill and addicted offenders. My practise has evolved over the years with an increasing emphasis on charter litigation, particularly arising in drug, gun and impaired driving litigation, and other serious offences, including murder.

Per Diem Assistant Crown Attorney, Toronto and Newmarket Court

i spent many years I have providimg services to the Ministry of the Attorney General as a Per Diem Assistant Crown Attorney. I was originally rerained by MAG to provide services at the Ontario Court of Justice, 1000 Finch Avenue West, Toronto and subsequently hired to perform these services at the Ontario Court of Justice in Newmarket. I have provided countless days of service over the years in various courtrooms including trials, bail, youth, and plea courts.
