About Jaime Topham

Jaime grew up on the back of a horse, training and showing horses as well as teaching riding lessons. Through training horses and teaching people, Jaime learned the importance of patience, communication, empathy, common sense and determination to achieve a desired outcome. That experience gave her the skills she now uses to help clients get through the most difficult experiences of their life.

As family law professional, Jaime is dedicated to guiding her clients to create outcomes that consider the future needs of the client and children. In cases involving children, Jaime assists her clients in fostering relationships with the other parent and extended family when possible, so the children of the divorce or custody case can maintain those important relationships. Jaime strongly believes that helping this generation of divorcing parents focus on family ties even after the divorce will help the next generation of parents (divorcing or not) prioritize the family ties for their children.

Known for her tell-it-like-it-is approach, Jaime provides clients with clear, realistic advice and guidance when evaluating legal issues. Jaime values direct and open communication with clients, opposing counsel and others she interacts with one a daily basis. This approach is a benefit to clients as it fosters good working relationships with all people involved in the legal process.

Jaime obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah in 2007 and was admitted to the Utah State Bar in October 2007.
