About Peter Antone

Mr. Antone has significant educational and work experiences that complement his legal practice. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Antone obtained a Bachelor’s degree (with highest distinction) from the University of Baghdad, Iraq, a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom, and he managed a consulting firm. In addition, he has studied, done graduate work, and performed work in the fields of business administration, economics, and finance. He has worked and studied in the U.S.
Europe, and the Middle East.

Mr. Antone had over the years volunteered his time to serve in many non-profit organizations and had participated in several task forces and Judicial Advisory committees, all intending to serve the community or improve the judicial system. Currently, he serves as an honorary but active member of the Board of Directors of the French School of Detroit.

Mr. Antone is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and a member of the Michigan Bar.

Awards And Accolades
Mr. Antone is rated by Martindale Hubbell Law Directory (a highly regarded lawyer-ranking company) as AV, which is the highest possible ranking given to an attorney for both competency and adherence to ethical standards. He is also listed in Marquis Who’s Who in American Law. In addition, he has been selected as a Super Lawyer by Super Lawyer Magazine since 2011, and as a Top Lawyer by DBusiness Magazine since 2012, based on a peer-review survey open to all area lawyers where thousands of votes are cast honoring excellence in the practice of law. He has also been recognized as a member of the “Who’s Who Legal Corporate Immigration”, a publication by the Law Business Research Ltd., a United Kingdom research-based publication whose research revealed a few hundred lawyers from 40 different jurisdictions that they consider to be leaders in the field.
