About Elizabeth Buckley

Mrs. Buckley was born and raised in the heart of Bluegrass Country. Originally from Paris, Kentucky, Mrs. Buckley, received her B.A. from Transylvania University and her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law.

In 2004, Mrs. Buckley opened her first law office in Lexington, Kentucky. Focusing on the legal needs of the growing immigrant community and the labor needs of the local farm community. Mrs. Buckley has built a successful practice that is noted for its implementation of H-2B and H-2A seasonal visa programs throughout Central Kentucky and the United States. Mrs. Buckley has continued to grow her practice to include all corporate Clients with a need for seasonal temporary visa programs.

Mrs. Buckley is admitted to practice law in the State of Kentucky and the Courts of the United States for the Eastern District of Kentucky. Mrs. Buckley is member of the Kentucky Bar Association, American Bar Association, and American Immigration Lawyers’ Association. She is a licensed Farm Labor Contractor (FLC) and is an active member of the Bluegrass Farm Chaplaincy Ladies’ Guild.

She and her husband, Eric, live in Bourbon County with their son, Hawke, and dogs, Ruby and Bulleit, and cats, Dinah-the Duchess of Sussex and Tom Kitten. Eric is the Farm Manager for his family thoroughbred farm, Threave Main Stud, which was founded by his grandfather, Carter Thornton.
