About Amy Altbach

Attorney Amy Altbach has practiced law with Nash Disability Law since 1997. During her time at Nash, she has excelled at interviewing clients at intake, talking clients with every type of disability claim through the process and spotting legal issues. As a hearing attorney, Amy is tenacious in advocating on behalf of her clients. She has a special interest in CHILDHOOD cases and leads the firm in that area of its practice.

With two young children of her own, Amy finds helping families with disabled children particularly professionally gratifying. Amy grew up in Iowa, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and later DePaul Law School. Amy has appeared before dozens of judges in the Chicago metropolitan area and has questioned countless local expert witnesses; she is proud to have helped thousands of clients.
