About Mallory Willink

I have a passion for helping people through challenging circumstances and finding resolutions that make the best of a difficult situation. I have often found myself working with friends and family to resolve conflict, and when I was introduced to the field of family law years ago, I quickly realized it was the perfect way for me to continue using my skills to help people during a hard time in their life.

Divorce is difficult – even when the decision to separate is a mutual one – and it can generate more emotions than people can manage. I believe that you need a compassionate attorney who will really listen to you, discuss your needs and feelings, and help guide you through that process. Each client has their own unique circumstances and emotions that they must work through. My goal with every case is to absorb every bit of that for my client, understand my client’s specific needs and goals, and then co-create a plan with my client to move their life forward in a positive way.

I have represented clients in North and South Carolina, in various matters including divorce, child custody, child support, post-separation support, alimony, equitable distribution, prenuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements, third-party custody matters, collaborative divorce, domestic violence and other family law issues.

I was born and raised in Morgantown, West Virginia where many of my family members still reside. I graduated from West Virginia University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. While at West Virginia University, I was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority and a member of the WVU Debate Team. After graduating from WVU, I moved to Charlotte to attend law school where I held the position of the 4th Circuit Governor for the American Bar Association’s Law Student Division, served as editor in chief for the school’s newspaper, and completed over 140 hours of pro bono service.
