About John Lisk

John F. Lisk is Of Counsel to the Capua Law Firm, PA. Along with his legal experience, he brings with him a wealth of knowledge from his years in both executive and advisory roles in a number of prominent organizations. From 2003 – 2017, Mr. Lisk’s practice focused on the areas of Business Development and Intellectual Property on behalf of the American Football Coaches Association, the National Association of Basketball Coaches, and the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.

Prior to his work with the Coaches Associations, Mr. Lisk’s career spanned a number of consulting and executive roles for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, including startup companies, e.g., Advanced Paycard Systems, LLC, PinPoint Innovations, Inc., The Black Dog Group LLC, Specialized Transportation Products, Inc., and Williams Easy Hitch, LLC and not for profits, e.g., The Humane Society of Greater Miami, Youth Crime Watch of America and Southern Sun Farm Sanctuary.

Mr. Lisk is licensed to practice in Florida and also holds a Florida Real Estate license Mr. Lisk earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 1977 from the University of Miami Law School, and his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1974 from the University of Miami. He was honored to serve two terms as President of the University of Miami National Alumni Association.
