About Victor Nieblas

Victor D. Nieblas Pradis practices Immigration Law in Southern California and across the United States. He is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, and Loyola Law School. His areas of practice include Family Immigration, Marriage-based Immigration, Deportation defense, Court Representation, Federal Court litigation, Appellate work, Provisional I-601A Waivers, Consular Processing, and Naturalization, among other areas. Mr. Nieblas has had various cases published in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Nieblas is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles teaching Immigration Law for the past 15 years.

Mr. Nieblas is a Past President of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). AILA is the largest national association of immigration lawyers with over 15,000 members across the United States and abroad established to promote justice, advocate for fair and reasonable immigration law and policy, advance the quality of immigration and nationality law and practice, and enhance the professional development of its members. Mr. Nieblas was the first Mexican-American to serve in this capacity in the organization’s 70-year history. He also served on the AILA Board of Governors for eight years and is a past Chairperson of the AILA, Southern California Chapter.

Mr. Nieblas has also served as the Chairperson for the Immigration Law Section of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA). He is also a past Trustee for the Mexican American Bar Association (MABA), and past chairperson of the MABA Immigration Subcommittee.

Mr. Nieblas has presented numerous lectures and programs across the country on immigration topics for AILA, MABA, Los Angeles Country Bar Association, and the California State Bar.

Mr. Nieblas hosted a weekly Spanish Television Program named “Inmigracion 411” discussing Immigration Law on the cable channel HITN. Mr. Nieblas was also a co-host of a weekly Spanish Radio Broadcast named “La Ley de Inmigracion” for 12 years. Currently, Mr. Nieblas is a television legal commentator for several local and national News Broadcasts. Mr. Nieblas is regularly quoted in major print media across the country. He is listed with The Best Lawyers in America and Southern California for Immigration and Nationality Law.
