About Eric Storm

Eric Storm, founder of The Storm Law Firm, has extensive civil trial, appellate, and administrative law experience. As a trial and appellate attorney at Bracewell & Giuliani, LLP and then at Edison, McDowell & Hetherington, LLP, Eric developed first-hand experience resolving complex disputes for clients of every size and level of sophistication. His experience managing and prosecuting a large and diverse docket of cases through all phases of discovery, trial, and appeal provided the type of large law firm experience needed by many of his corporate clients. That experience, coupled with his tenure as a briefing attorney at the Texas Supreme Court, has prepared him to obtain successful trial verdicts, appeals, and settlements for a broad range of clients in a variety of industries.

Repeatedly recognized as a Rising Star by Texas Monthly magazine, Eric Storm has represented clients in civil trials, appeals, and arbitrations in venues across the country. Eric has represented clients in cases involving business disputes, financial services, construction defects, personal injury, intellectual property, employment discrimination and whistleblower claims, toxic torts, and oil and gas cases. Mr. Storm has also promoted his client’s interests in administrative proceedings before the Texas Comptroller, the Texas Railroad Commission, the Texas Public Utilities Commission, and county appraisal review boards.

Eric now brings that large-firm experience to his own practice. The Storm Law firm represents appellants, plaintiffs, and defendants in all types of commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts at every level. Eric has and continues to successfully handle cases across a broad spectrum of business and law.

Mr. Storm received his law degree in 2001 from the University of Texas School of Law, where he served as an articles editor for the Texas Law Review. Following graduation, he was a briefing attorney at the Texas Supreme Court for now-Chief Justice Wallace B. Jefferson and then joined Bracewell & Giuliani LLP’s litigation team. After 10 years of practice at large and mid-sized litigation firms, Eric formed his own firm.

Active in his community, Mr. Storm has served as commissioner of Lake Travis Youth Association Soccer, president of the Austin Management Society, and as a scoutmaster and cub scout leader. He is currently a youth soccer coach and a member of the Lake Travis Youth Association Soccer board.
