About Heather Hart

Attorney Heather Hart is a seasoned family law practitioner who represents and counsels her clients in all areas of matrimonial and family law, with a primary goal of negotiating and securing advantageous settlements for her clients. Her practice includes divorce, pre and post-nuptial agreements, custody and visitation issues, post-judgment matters, and spousal support/alimony. In addition to her litigation experience, Heather has been trained in mediation and collaborative divorce and helps her clients to determine which process is best for their family and circumstances.

Heather graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 2009. Prior to receiving her J.D., she received a B.A. and a B.F.A. from the University of Michigan. Heather has focused her practice exclusively on family law since she began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Matthew F. Cooper, Supreme Court, New York County, in a dedicated matrimonial part. Upon completion of her clerkship, she entered private practice at a boutique matrimonial and family law firm in New York City. Heather practices in both New York and Connecticut and is an active member of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association and the Fairfield County Bar Association. Heather lives in Westchester County with her three daughters and beloved dog.
