About John Hebb

When you deal with my Law Firm, you will be dealing with me. I am a solo practitioner. You will never be lost in the shuffle or have your case handled by a different attorney.

The purpose of my practice is to provide individualized attention to each and every one of my clients. I am in the practice to help those that may not want to deal with a large, impersonal firm where the billable hour is the sole motivation for seeking clients. My intent is to help people solve their problems in the most effective way possible. Sometimes this will involve court action. Many times it does not. It is my firm belief that most legal problems can be resolved short of court action.

I come to the practice of law by a different route than many lawyers. I was a Police Officer and Detective for almost forty years and went to law school near the end of my law enforcement career. Going to law school and becoming a lawyer were longtime dreams of mine. I have a strong background in Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Investigation work, and of course, a great deal of experience in dealing with domestic relations cases. I still assist a local private investigation agency in conducting investigations when the need arises.

In addition to my law practice, I am an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice at a private college with campuses in Boston and Taunton.

My billing structure is flexible. I do not nitpick or overcharge in fees. Initial consultations are complimentary.
