About Joy Pearson-Schneck

Joy A. Pearson-Schneck received her B.S. in Elementary Education from Penn State in 1997, and her J.D., from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2000. Ms. Pearson-Schneck, Esquire is a founding partner of the law firm of Berg & Pearson PC since its inception in 2003 and has been involved in numerous family matters since that time.

Ms. Pearson-Schneck’s emphasis is family law, including divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, spousal support, domestic violence, emancipation, name changes, drafting and negotiating of Marital Settlement Agreements, and post-judgment matters. Ms. Pearson-Schneck believes in placing her client’s interests first and appreciates the need for client contact!

She has served as a member of the District IV Ethics Committee for the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Ms. Pearson-Schneck also served as a member for one year of the National Organization for Victim Assistance and was awarded “Awesome Attorney” for years 2009 through the present by South Jersey Magazine. Ms. Pearson-Schneck also spoke to Temple University School of Law regarding the issue of Mothering and Lawyering. Ms. Pearson-Schneck serves as a Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist in the Superior Court of New Jersey. Ms. Pearson-Schneck was admitted to the New Jersey Bar and U.S. District Court of New Jersey in 2000.
