About Shauna Wright

Shauna Wright is a partner and co-chairs the firm’s Litigation practice group. Ms. Wright represents corporate and individual clients in a wide variety of business litigation in state and federal courts involving real estate, transportation, oil and gas, employment, antitrust, aviation and other matters. She is an experienced litigator and has prevailed as lead counsel in over 130 jury trials. Ms. Wright has significant hands-on experience solving complex conflicts in high-profile settings and has the litigation, public policy, and communications skills to manage crisis on multiple fronts. In addition, she is skilled at directing internal investigations, crisis management, media relations, and other enforcement proceedings.

Ms. Wright is a qualified mediator and serves as a creative and diligent resource for litigants. With her experience, she counsels clients in resolving disputes and minimizing costly litigation and risk. She has combined skill and organization with excellent results in summary disposition and jury trials in the courtroom.

Throughout her career, Ms. Wright has served as a legal advisor to a wide range of clients, including crime victims, governmental agencies, political bodies, the Grand Jury, nonprofit organizations, and law enforcement agencies. During her husband’s tenure in the U.S. Navy, she worked as a prosecutor for the State of Florida, where she held notable roles such as the Director of the Clay County State Attorney’s Office and Chief of the Special Victims Unit. In these positions, she handled homicide cases from crime scene investigation through trial, bringing a unique background that combines tenacity, advocacy, and expertise in managing sensitive issues.

.Ms. Wright is highly sought-after as a speaker on topics such as trial practice, trial preparation, expert testimony, crisis investigation, child witnesses, and violence against women and children. Additionally, she offers her legal counsel to churches on various matters, including child protection. Notably, she served as the firm’s Pro Bono Coordinator for a decade, exemplifying her commitment to giving back to the community.
