About Jay Malik

Jay is a lifelong Washington County resident. He graduated from New York University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Afterwards, Jay was an Infantry Sergeant in the US Army. During active duty and over the course of multiple wartime deployments, Jay obtained a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice. After enlistment, Jay went to the George Washington University Law School where he received his Juris Doctor. After law school, Jay spent over five years as a criminal prosecutor. Jay joined the Montero Law Group in 2021 and concentrates his practice in criminal defense, personal injury, and civil litigation matters.
