About Kenneth Kaplan

KENNETH M. KAPLAN, ESQUIRE graduated with honors from Boston University in the year 1986 with a Major in Political Science and a Minor in Religion. Kenneth Kaplan was admitted to the University of Miami School of Law and graduated in May of 1989. During Kenneth Kaplan’s years as a Law Clerk at the Law Offices of Terry Rosenblum, P.A. in Hollywood, Florida.

Following Law School Kenneth Kaplan took the Florida Bar Examination and passed the first time and Kenneth Kaplan was also admitted to Washington, D.C. Bar based upon his score on the Florida Bar Examination.

Following, Kenneth Kaplan’s admission to the Florida Bar, he worked as a Guardian Ad Litem representing children who had been abandoned, abused, and neglected and were part of the Juvenile Dependency System in the State of Florida.

Initially, KENNETH M. KAPLAN handed Juvenile Dependency Cases on a Pro Bono basis to get Trial experience. KENNETH M. KAPLAN then contacted the Florida Bar and agreed to handle cases through the Florida Bar in the areas of Divorce and Adoption. Gaining valuable experience Kenneth Kaplan started litigating cases in most areas of Family Law. Over the years, Kenneth Kaplan has expanded his practice and handled cases in Family Law, Juvenile Dependency and Termination of Parental Rights, Domestic Violence, Probate and Guardianship, Adoption, Relocation, and Child Abduction matters. After litigating many matters in various areas of the law, which addresses issues that directly impact on an individual’s rights with an emphasis on children’s rights and the elderly. Kenneth M. Kaplan has continued to expand his practices from his initial representation of children, to Family Law matters, to representing the Elderly and incapacitated to represent indigent and underprivileged individuals to representing all races and minorities. Mr. Kaplan has recently endeavored to represent both gay males and females in the area of Adoption and the Protection of their rights as Equal citizens in the State of Florida and the United States of America.
