We were referred to Mr. Standley to help with an issue involving an elderly friend of mine who had accumulated credit card debt and was only able to make minimum payments each month. When her apartment rent increased, she struggled to live off her Social Security income. Although she had managed her finances well for years, she was now in a dire situation and close to homelessness.
