About David Jonas
Dave Jonas, a partner at FH+H, specializes in providing legal services to mid-tier corporations, C-suite executives, small companies, and individual clients. He offers general counsel services, contract/agreement design, analysis, negotiation, and litigation services.
Mr. Jonas advises and represents his clients on various matters such as corporate transactions, executive employment agreements, employment law, government contracts, administrative law, and more. He has extensive litigation and appellate experience, including arguing before the United States Supreme Court.
In addition to his legal expertise, Mr. Jonas is recognized as a leading authority in nuclear nonproliferation law and has served as a negotiator for several international agreements. He also has extensive experience in national security issues and has served on Presidential Transition Teams for Defense and Energy.
Mr. Jonas is an accomplished senior executive attorney with diverse legal, government relations, strategic planning, and leadership experience. He has served as general counsel of two federal agencies, and his distinguished Marine Corps service includes becoming the first judge advocate in the history of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force to argue in front of the US Supreme Court.
Mr. Jonas is also an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center and George Washington University Law School, and he has taught at the U.S. Naval War College. He serves on the Board of Directors and as General Counsel of the Young Marines and is also on the Boards of the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative and the Center for Ethics and the Rule of Law at University of Pennsylvania Law School. He previously served for almost a decade on the Board of the Naval War College Foundation.
