About Sylvia Mulholland

Sylvia Mulholland was born in Canada, where she obtained her law degree and first license to practice.

For many years, she practiced law as a trademark partner in a multi-national firm, Gowling WLG, then moved to Los Angeles where she obtained her MFA from American Film Institute and was awarded the prestigious Sloan Foundation Fellowship. Following that, she worked in Los Angeles for E! Entertainment and Fox Filmed Entertainment (21st Century Fox) in the international trademark department.

Since 2006, she a has practiced intellectual property law (specializing in trademarks) with offices in both Los Angeles and Toronto. She is dedicated to assisting clients, large and small with searching, securing and enforcing their intellectual property rights. Given her vast experience, and the flexibility of fees available for a solo practice, she offers big firm results, at small firm rates. Lawyers in large firms, with Sylvia’s depth and breadth of experience charge hourly rates at two to three times what Sylvia charges. Much of the work she does is on a flat fee basis.

Sylvia is active and in good standing with the Bar in Canada (Ontario) and in the US (California).
