About Donald Moore

Mr. Moore was born in Bismarck, North Dakota, and was raised in
Greeley, Colorado. He graduated from the University of Colorado
in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Mr. Moore
graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1991,
and is admitted to practice in Wyoming state courts, the United
States District Court for the District of Wyoming, Colorado state
courts, and the United States District Court for the District of
Colorado.

Mr. Moore is a member of the Colorado and the Denver Bar
Associations, the Workers! Compensation Section of the Colorado
Bar, the Wyoming State Bar, and the National Association of
Subrogation Professionals.

Mr. Moore’s practice includes defending first and third party
insurance claims, providing insurance coverage opinions, product
liability defense, and all areas of insurance subrogation.

From 1993 to 1998, Mr. Moore held the position of Liability Claims
Counsel in the Denver Division of Safeway, Inc., where, in addition
to defending general liability and workers! compensation claims,
he participated in the design and development of a company-
wide plan to recognize and pursue subrogation.

Mr. Moore was a panelist on the Workers Compensation and
Subrogation by Region presentation at the 2004 National
Association of Subrogation Professionals conference in Atlanta,
Georgia. His article concerning Workers Compensation
Subrogation in Colorado was published in the Fall, 2004 issue of
Subrogator magazine. He was a co-presenter of the workers
compensation subrogation program “Maximizing Recovery in
Made Whole States” at the 2007 National Association of
Subrogation Professionals conference in New Orleans.
