About James Burdick
James W. Burdick specializes in complex federal criminal litigation, principally white collar, but also narcotics, money laundering, interstate gambling, wire and mail fraud and other federal offenses and state Medicaid and insurance fraud matters, as well as in defense of health care professionals facing license discipline, reinstatement, DEA Registration Show Causes, HHS Exclusion and readmission and Blue Cross and other insurance companies’ de-participation and re-participation actions. He was a member of the Michigan Board of Medicine for seven years, and has successfully prosecuted and defended cases ranging from police corruption and racketeering, to Medicare and Medicaid fraud, murder to money laundering, drugs to extortion, and other similar charges. He has represented defendants accused in cases across the country in various federal courts, as well as in both federal districts in Michigan.
