About Norman Witte

Norman C. Witte established his solo practice of law in Lansing, Michigan in 1995. His primary areas of practice are bankruptcy, commercial litigation and landlord/tenant. Mr. Witte is also qualified to mediate cases in state and bankruptcy court, and frequently serves in that capacity.

Mr. Witte graduated in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from James Madison College at Michigan State University. Mr. Witte graduated cum laude from Wayne State University Law School in 1987.

Mr. Witte is a member and past chair of the Western District of Michigan Federal Bar Association Bankruptcy Section and is currently co-chair of the Ingham County Bar Association Bankruptcy Section. He is a Master of the Bar in the Michigan State University College of Law Chapter of the American Inns of Court.

Mr. Witte formerly clerked for Hon. Jo Ann C. Stevenson, United States Bankruptcy Judge, Western District of Michigan. Prior to his clerkship with Judge Stevenson, Mr. Witte was an associate with Loomis, Ewert, Parsley, Davis & Gotting, PC
