About Lisa Carey
Lisa has been an attorney with the firm since its inception and has been practicing law since 1993. She received a B.A., summa cum laude, in Politics and Public Policy from Bethany College in 1990; and a J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1993. At the University of Cincinnati, she served on the College of Law’s Moot Court Board and as a graduate student representative to the University of Cincinnati Board of Trustees.
Lisa’s practice areas include: Personal Injury; Insurance Defense; Family Law (divorce/dissolution); Probate and Estate Planning; and general civil litigation.
She is a member and current Secretary of the Geauga County Bar Association and has served as the chairperson of the Settlement Day Committee for over ten (10) years. Lisa is also a member of the Lake County Bar Association and Ohio State Bar Association.
Most recently, Lisa served on the Board of Trustees for WomenSafe, Inc., a domestic violence shelter located in Geauga County, after serving in such capacities as President of the Board and chairperson of the Bylaws Committee.
