About Justin Vecchiarelli

Justin Vecchiarelli is recognized as a tenacious defender of his client’s rights. During law school, he worked at the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office in the Consumer & Environmental Protection Division where he assisted in the prosecution of violations of California’s environmental protection laws and the laws regulating public advertising and unfair business practices. After leaving the District Attorney’s Office he worked as a Law Clerk for a real estate and business litigation firm for several years with a focus on real estate transactions, civil litigation, intellectual property, employment law, and business law.

After passing the California State Bar he was offered a position as an associate attorney at the law firm he was clerking for and began representing clients in areas of strategic entity formation, land acquisition, trademarks, contract negotiation, labor and employment, litigation, corporate dissolutions, and business disputes.

In 2016 he took a position as an associate attorney at a boutique multi-state labor and employment law firm that specialized in counseling clients on labor and employment law matters and aggressively representing clients in litigation of employment law and business-related cases before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. At this law firm, he represented clients in business disputes, class action lawsuits, employment actions, and OSHA matters. In 2018, he was selected by his peers as a Northern California “Rising Star” as an Employment Litigation Attorney.

After working for several years with some of Fresno’s most experienced business and employment lawyers he felt it was the proper time to join his wife’s law firm and build Proper Defense Law Corporation’s Civil Division by offering his experience and services to individuals and businesses.

Justin is dedicated to his profession and is constantly taking advantage of as many opportunities as possible to learn how to better advocate on behalf of his clients. He frequently attends seminars and lectures that are put on by some of the nation’s best attorneys and is an avid reader of books aimed at making him a better attorney.

In addition to his devotion to his career, he is actively involved in the community through various organizations. For several years he served on the City of Fresno District 6 Plan Implementation Committee at the request of then-councilman Lee Brand. In addition, he is heavily involved in the St. Agnes Men’s Club, Fresno County Women’s Lawyer Association and the Fresno County Bar Association.
