About Kimberly James

Kim has over 20 years of family law experience, which began in 1998 after she graduated from San Diego State University with a BA in Political Science and earned her paralegal certificate from the University of San Diego. After years gathering valuable knowledge and insight as a paralegal, she attended Concord Law School while continuing to work full-time as a paralegal. After completing law school, Kim passed the California Bar Exam in 2012.

Throughout her 20-year career, Kim has worked for some of the best family law attorneys in San Diego County. She is currently a member of the North County Bar Association and the San Diego Family Law Bar Association. Kim is a prior member of the American Inns of Court, Fiorenzo V. Lopardo Chapter. In addition to practicing law, Kim believes in the importance of serving the local community, both in a legal and non-legal capacity. She has volunteered at Youth in Court and regularly participates in community services projects throughout San Diego County.
