About Kimberly Selemba

Kimberly A. Selemba, Esq. is an established Liquor Licensing and Alcohol Law and Hospitality attorney and experienced litigator with a focus in the real estate and senior care industries. Kim assists beverage retailers, distributors, restaurants, hotels, bars, private clubs, music and entertainment venues, breweries, wineries and distilleries on licensing, permits and compliance as well as enforcement actions and claims resolution.

In her real estate practice, Kim regularly handles both residential and commercial matters including negotiating and enforcing leases and other contracts. She also assists landlords and tenants across Pennsylvania with resolving disputes involving breach of contract, failure to pay, nuisance actions and property maintenance.

Kim advises long-term care facilities and senior living communities on developing risk mitigation strategies to reduce adverse events and provides representation should professional or general liability claims arise.

She also represents commercial vehicle owners and operators in defending vehicle accident litigation and Vehicle Code violations. Kim advises clients regarding freight claims and other transportation issues, including transportation agreements, electronic evidence issues and document retention specific to the industry.

Prior to joining Saxton & Stump, Kim practiced for 15 years as an attorney with a Harrisburg-based law firm and is well-known for her community involvement. She currently is the Vice President of the Dauphin County Bar Association. She formerly served as a board member for Leadership Harrisburg, a nonprofit organization dedicated to servant leadership and community service. Kim is also passionate about legal education and has served as an Adjunct Professor/Practitioner Instructor at Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. She is frequently invited to write and present state-wide on the topics of alcoholic beverages, transportation and commercial litigation.
