About Caroline Wagoner
Caroline Van Wagoner represents companies in complex civil litigation and government and internal investigations. She has experience in all stages of litigation and in a variety of matters, including antitrust and unfair competition, class actions, fraud, commercial disputes, and intellectual property. Caroline also regularly defends clients in investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Caroline recently represented a health care provider in parallel federal and state class actions that alleged tying and market leveraging. She worked on all aspects of party, third-party, and expert discovery, class certification, dispositive motion practice, and trial preparation. Caroline has also represented companies in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries in complex, multijurisdictional investigations.
Caroline maintains an active pro bono practice. Most recently, she helped a mother and her son seek asylum from gang persecution.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2017, Caroline clerked in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and worked as a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C. office of an international law firm.
