About Brian Raphel
Brian Raphel is a senior associate in Dechert’s Trials, Investigations, and Securities practice group. His practice has covered a broad array of areas including asbestos litigation, products liability, shareholder litigation, and internal investigations. Mr. Raphel has prepared dozens of cases for trial and has played an integral role in trying three of them to verdict, each of which resulted in complete defense verdicts in his clients’ favor.
Mr. Raphel regularly works on all phases of a lawsuit at both the trial and appellate levels. In particular, he has extensive experience managing large-scale e-discovery projects in complex consumer class actions, derivative lawsuits, appraisal proceedings, and internal investigations. Additionally, he has also assisted in an assortment of pro bono cases involving voting rights, the rights of same-sex couples to marry, and landlord-tenant disputes.
