About Justin Ward

Justin L. Ward attended college at UC Irvine from 1993-1997 and University of Southern California Law School from 1997-2000. He started his legal career doing personal injury defense work for Infinity Auto Insurance in Los Angeles, California. While working for Infinity, Justin primarily handled auto accident cases, including jury trials, bench trials, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and mandatory settlement conferences. In 2005, he left Infinity to work as a criminal prosecutor for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. There, Justin prosecuted more than 20 trials to verdict. Wanting to return to Northern California, Justin left the city attorney’s office in 2007 to work for the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office.

After a year, Justin left to pursue his lifelong dream of opening up his own practice in 2008. The Ward Firm focuses on personal injury, employment law, and criminal defense. Personal injury cases include vehicle accidents, slip and falls, civil rights violations, animal attacks, and funeral home negligence. Employment cases include wrongful termination, breach of contract, harassment, and discrimination. Criminal defense matters include DUI, assault, theft, drug sales and possession, domestic violence, identity theft, and white-collar crimes.  In 2016, Justin became Of Counsel to the Bohm Law Group, which specializes in plaintiff-side employment litigation and personal injury.

Justin has obtained many successful civil settlements in his personal injury and employment practice. His criminal jury trial victories have included many serious and violent crimes.
