About Kelvin Lee
After more than 20 years of service in State and Federal Government as a Department Counsel and an Administrative Law Judge, in 2012 Kelvin Lee founded the Law Offices of Kelvin K. Lee in San Marino, CA. Kelvin has worked in the administrative law arena for numerous agencies, including the Social Security Administration, Department of Social Services, Department of Real Estate, Department of Motor Vehicles, and Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. He draws upon these experiences and understanding of government procedures and processes to represent clients in administrative proceedings before Federal, State and Local Departments and Agencies. Kelvin served as an Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) for the California Department of Social Services, adjudicating cases regarding public benefits, including CalWORKS, Food Stamps, and Medi-Cal.
Kelvin is a 1990 graduate of UCLA Law School and was admitted to the State Bar of California in June 1991. He previously served as a Board Member of the Hemophilia Foundation of Southern California, and a member of the San Gabriel Valley Bar Association from 2014 to 2020. Karen and his wife Karen, who is the CEO and Office Manager of our law firm, presently belong to the San Gabriel Chamber of Commerce and the Los Angeles Chapter of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association (APABA). Karen is also a medical benefits specialist who has experience with Blue Shield of California and Care First. She is entirely fluent in the Korean Language. Karen and Kelvin live in Arcadia, CA and their son Robinson is presently attending Pitzer College in Claremont.
