About Sarah Cabot

Sarah Shoaf Cabot is President of Cabot Law, PC, a boutique law firm that provides transactional counsel to clients in the drug and life sciences industries. She has over 20 years of experience as a lawyer in handling complex transactions including strategic partnering and alliance transactions, licensing, clinical and manufacturing agreements, and supply and distribution arrangements. Sarah combines a deep knowledge of transactional law with an understanding of the strategic management of technology in a corporate setting to provide her clients with seasoned advice on a broad range of legal and business issues, especially those relating to the management, acquisition, and disposition of intellectual property assets.

Experience
Before founding Cabot Law, PC, Sarah was a Principal at Faber Daeufer Itrato & Cabot PC, a boutique firm specializing in corporate and transactional law for life sciences companies. She joined Faber in 2006 from Mintz Levin, a large Boston-based law firm where she was a partner. Sarah has held legal and technology management positions in start-up and development-stage companies including Microbia, Inc. (now Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, Inc.), where she was Vice President, Legal Affairs, DNX, Inc., where she was Director, Corporate Development, and Centocor, Inc. (purchased by J&J), where she was Director of Corporate Technology Affairs. She also worked for several years in the corporate planning and corporate research fields at Squibb, Conoco, and Westinghouse.
