About Nancy Hunter
Hunter Law, LLC is a general practice law firm owned and operated by Attorney Nancy S. Hunter.
Attorney Nancy S. (Fazzino) Hunter was born and raised in Cromwell and graduated from Cromwell High School in 1992. Following high school, she took a position as an office assistant at a law firm in Cromwell while attending Central Connecticut State University. Upon graduating from CCSU with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice she was accepted into the Roger Williams School of Law, located in Bristol, Rhode Island and by 2002, she obtained her Juris Doctor degree and later passed the bar exam.
During her first eleven years of practice she worked in law firms based in New Haven, Hamden, New Britain and New London where she primarily focused on Personal Injury matters. In January of 2015, Attorney Hunter decided it was time to open her own law practice, under Hunter Law, LLC, and did so in Durham, CT. She expanded her practice areas to include Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, Real Estate and Wills/Estate Planning.
In November of 2017, while driving through her hometown of Cromwell, she noticed the very same office she began her law career in as an office assistant, was available for rent. Realizing that over the past few years, many of Attorney Hunter’s new clients were referred by long-time friends and families from the Cromwell area, Attorney Hunter jumped on the opportunity to move her business “back home” to Cromwell. She relocated her law office to 332B Main Street, the first week of 2018 and can officially say she has “come full circle”.
Throughout her 16 years of law practice across Connecticut, Attorney Hunter has enjoyed the relationships she has built with her clients who are drawn to her personal attention and genuine care and concern for their cause and needs. “What makes me stand out from other lawyers is my personal approach to building a relationship with my clients. I think some lawyers forget that being a lawyer isn’t always about just knowing the law, but it’s even more about providing quality service and showing each and every client they matter.”
Attorney Hunter is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, Middlesex Bar Association, the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce and serves as a Court appointed Committee for Foreclosure Auctions by Sale for Middlesex County. In addition to being admitted to practice in Connecticut, Attorney Hunter is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, 2nd Circuit and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court.
Attorney Hunter lives with her husband, Steven, also a 1992 graduate of Cromwell High School, and their twin daughters in Middletown, CT. When she is not working, she enjoys cooking, word games, flower gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
