About Kimberly Jones

Kim Jones is the founding member of Jones Law, Inc., a plaintiff-side employment law firm dedicated to protecting the rights of individuals in the workplace. She handles many different kinds of employment matters, with an emphasis on cases involving claims of discrimination or retaliation because of an employee’s sex, pregnancy, breastfeeding status, age, disability, FMLA leave request(s), race, or religion. 

Ms. Jones brings a wealth of experience to her role. Prior to opening her practice, she worked for many years as a plaintiff-side employment and civil rights attorney for a highly-regarded employment firm in Denver. She also worked as a paralegal handling employment and civil rights litigation for nearly a decade before returning to law school and earning her J.D. During law school, Ms. Jones served as a law clerk for both the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights. 

Ms. Jones graduated magna cum laude from Alfred University in 1999, earning her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with minors in Psychology and Women’s Studies. She earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2013. She is admitted to practice in both Colorado and Pennsylvania.

Ms. Jones is a frequent lecturer on issues involving pregnancy and breastfeeding discrimination and the Family and Medical Leave Act and has had several articles published in legal journals. She was selected to the Colorado Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in Employment & Labor law in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

She is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Colorado Plaintiff’s Employment Lawyers Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the Chester County Bar Association. She served as Secretary of the Colorado Plaintiff’s Employment Lawyers Association in 2018, and was a member of the Legal Services Committee of the Colorado Women’s Bar Association in 2017 and 2018.
