About Jaswinder Han

Jaswinder has been with the firm since 2004 and is committed to achieve the best results for her clients. She is experienced in representing self-insured employers, insurance carriers, third party administrators and public entities. She works closely with claims examiners, claims supervisors, claims managers, employers, brokers, and risk management, to achieve results by teaming up to strategize on file handling.

Jaswinder handles all aspects of the litigation process including initial file reviews with claim assessments, depositions, cross-examinations, witness preparation, attendance at hearings, and appeals. She has achieved early resolution of claims including substituted files and complex cases with life pension, Medicare Set-Asides (MSA) and structured settlements. She has successfully represented defendants at trials and throughout the appeals process, in addition to obtaining Orders to Dismiss, zero allocation MSA from CMS, and Orders to Quash Subpoenas.

Before joining the firm, Jaswinder was an Associate Attorney at Manning & Marder, Ellrod, Kass, Ramirez LLP in Los Angeles also practicing workers’ compensation defense. She is a member of the State Bar of California and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of La Verne College of Law.

Before and while attending law school, she worked full-time in the insurance industry. She was a disability claims manager in the long-term and short-term disability units, working with doctors and nurses to assist claimants to return to work.
