About Cheryl Allerton

Ms. Allerton has over 20 years of litigation and trial experience, representing individuals and businesses based in the United States and abroad. She has extensive experience in the practice areas of Civil Litigation; Commercial Litigation; Personal Injury Litigation; Equine Law; Agricultural Law; Real Estate; Landlord Tenant; Elder Law; Guardianship’s; Estate Planning, Administration and Litigation; Code Enforcement for Municipalities; and Zoning. Ms. Allerton also provides general counsel services to corporate clients. Ms. Allerton is admitted in Pennsylvania State Courts; U.S. District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania; U.S. District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania; and U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

In her Equine Law practice, Ms. Allerton represents individuals and businesses involved in all facets of the equine industry, from Thoroughbred, Quarter Horse and Arabian Horse Racing, to pleasure and show horse boarding stables. Ms. Allerton counts among her clients Olympic riders, international businessmen and corporations, horse owners, trainers, breeders, jockeys, boarding stables, riding and driving clubs, breed clubs, veterinarians, farriers, and feed companies.

In addition, Ms. Allerton provides Alternative Dispute Resolution Services for parties who wish to avoid the expense and inconvenience of the court system. She is a certified Mediator, certified Collaborative Law practitioner, and a trained arbitrator.

Ms. Allerton is a member of the Pennsylvania and Berks County Bar Associations, the American College of Equine Attorneys, the Pennsylvania Council of Mediators, and the Pennsylvania Collaborative Law, Schuylkill/Berks County.
